The brow fade....

Most important feature when doing  my makeup is my brows as i literally have none... like literally.
This is just a simple step by step of how i do my brows myself. There are plenty of different techniques that people use but this is how i currently do my brows.

Step 1 - Facing the natural brow. Unfortunatley i wasn't blessed with thick dark eyebrows i have the complete opposite light and quite thin. So therefor i like to make my eyebrows a little bit bigger and darker.
(My natural eyebrow below)

Step 2- Knowing the best eyebrow shape for your face. As i have a round face, my brows look better when they have a slight arch as it makes my face seem longer than wider. To begin with i draw under my eyebrow and give it the shape i want to aim for.

Step 3- The start of the brow.  Most girls are fading their eyebrows but when they do it they miss out this line and so both brows will like there merging into each other or looking like a monobrow. Plus it gives it a cleaner finish.

Step 4- Taking shape, Now you know what shape your eyebrow is you can start filling them in. From the line we just drew at the start of the brow leave about 1cm and shape the mid-ends of your brows.

Step 5- Fading process. Now you have a gap at the front of the brows. This is where most girls go the heaviest when they should be doing the opposite and go lighter. In stroking motions upwards gently shade it in, just like your drawing on hair by hair.

Step 6- Last stage. After gently filling them in just brush through the hairs on your eyebrows with either a eyebrow brush or a clean disposable mascara wand.

And that is how my brows are done!

The pencil im using is Anastasia Beverley Hills - Brow Wiz in 'medium brown'.

HIGHLIGTHERS AND LIPSTICKS

HIGHLIGHTERS AND LIPSTICKS

So pay day has arrived for me and as everyone knows i love buying makeup!
Currently I've taken a trip into 'Superdrug' and found a few little must haves.
Highlighters and Lipsticks are my life at the moment. I've just used and finished up my MAC highlighter and have been on the hunt to find an alternative.
I've finally found one!

I have never heard of this brand before 'Makeup Revolution' but it's amazing quality for the cheap prices they are.
These highlighters were £3 EACH... i can't believe i haven't found this brand sooner.
Names of the highlighters
Left- Golden Lights(MAC alternative)
 Right- Pink Lights
Click on the name of the highlighters above and it will take you to the products

Now with lipsticks, everyone loves a change up with lip colours and too experiment as it can completley change your makeup look. So with this range i've stuck with Pinks/Purples too experiment with.
When trying these colours once again i couldn't believe how dominant the colours were.

Colours in order from left - right
Rebel with cause, Crime, Scandalous Depraved ( Couldn't find on website) and then Enchant

My favourite out of all the lipsticks is Crime, love a bright colour now and then.
Can anyone guess how much these are?
Literally only £1 EACH...

Lets just say i will be using this brand again!

For the love of bags

As much as I love my shoes I love my handbags. This is my crazy little collection of bags/clutches that are very different from your typical plain  handbags.
Most of my bags are from "Skinnydip London" and this is so far my favorite phone case and bag brand EVER as there is nothing like it out there! Anything you could dream of e.g a unicorn or an icecream is turned into a bag or phone case it's a dream come true. So below are a  few pictures from my collection!

"Baby one more time"
So this is my furry "Apricot" clutch bag from Lamoda i also have another one in "Mint". I can't find my colour ones but i've found another colour thats on their website. They are only £7.99

"Bee Clutch Bag"
This is a nice gold evening clutch/side bag. Its a really good size not too big or small, your able to put your mobile phone in and your purse in. This is from Skinnydip for £45

"Pink & Blue Shell cross body-bag"
My DREAM bag.... everyone who knows me would know that i am all into mermaids and unicorns. They look amazing in summer! I took them both with me to Florida this year and everyone loved them. £25 each

"Fluffy cross bag"
This one i got from River Island last year so i'm not sure if you can get hold of them anymore but they came in a variety of colours. I believe it was roughly around £20-30

"Lemon slice"

This clutch is from New Look, i got this especially for holidays and took this with me away in Tenerife in august this year. It was perfect in the day if your wandering around in the towns or markets. £9.99

Lip liner love

Few people have asked what's a good lip liner that is natural and will stay on? Every brand has their own liners but one brand is well known for them and it's "Mac". Here is one that I think is a natural lip colour and its called "Soar" it's a pinkish brown. It is £12.50 but lasts a long time and it stays on all day whether you've been out for dinner or drinks it will stay on. Literally an autmamn makeup must have.

Lashes, Lashes and more lashes

#10
My favourite lashes!(£3.49)

#43(£3.49)

#WSP(£3.49)

#DW (£3.49)

Treated myself to lashes and these have to be the best fake lashes ever! First time of trying this brand and I'm officially hooked to them. Possibly the easiest eyelashes to stick on, compared to some other brands. I always find that fake eyelashes that have a clear bands (the strip that holds all of the lashes together) are easier to apply compared to the black bands. The link below is where I purchased these beauty's from.

My favourite foundations

So I thought I would go straight into makeup as everyone loves makeup..(well I do anyway aha)
I thought I should show you guys my favourite foundations/bb cream that I currently use and love at the moment.

The first one to the left is a BB matte cream from "Rimmel". A BB cream is a blemish balm or blemish base but it doesn't mean it's a spot cream. It's more a multi-function cream that has minimum coverage and protects your  skin. It's amazing if you have oily skin and only want something light on your face for wearing all day. You apply it like a normal foundation and make sure it's all even on the face. It's also good value for your money and it's affordable! Retail priced at Superdrug for £6.99.

Second one in is AMAZING for a high street foundation! It's called the "L'Oreal Paris infallible matte foundation". Once again it's a matte based product which is best for oily/shiny skin. It's easy to apply to the skin and it lasts all day! It is a heavier foundation so it's full coverage, it's not to everyone's cup of tea. But on a night out or you do like a full matte coverage this is perfect for you.
It's retailed price at £7.99 in Superdrug.

"Hello Flawless" Benefit has done good with this foundation! If your willing to spend a bit more on the foundation then this and the Bobbi Brown one is it! It's a medium coverage so it's still light on the face but the coverage is buildable which is perfect for most people. Its oil -free brightening foundation and it gives your a healthy glow to your skin. Also it has SPF 25 in so that means it protects your skin from harsh lights/sun etc. You can either get this in Boots/John Lewis or Benefit online, it's retailed on their website for £26.50.

The final one, Bobbi Brown "Long-wear even finish foundation". This is the best Bobbi Brown foundation out of all of them, it's also a foundation that is a medium to full coverage. It's oil-free that's not cakey, it's a long wearing and has SPF in it. This brand is also amazing if you have a darker complexion, they have a wide range of shades suited for everyone. You can either get this in House of Fraser/ John lewis or the brand website itself. Retailed on there website for £31.50.

Tip- I don't always like to use one foundation so feel free to mix and match. I like to mix and match to find the right look and also to get the perfect colour!
